We know you have a lot to choose from, and this is  very important decision. No one wants to leave thier chilldren for day, but it is good to know they are getting the best possible care.

About me:

My  daycare is run out of my home. I am a happily married mother of a six year old daughter. I was a stay at home mom up until the last six months. I went back to work, but had mixed hours and daycare became a problem for me. Babysitters and centers wanted a fulls weeks pay even if I only worked two days. I decided that I would offer a solution to this problem by setting up drop in day care for others, and have left work and am again a happy stay at home mom.

How I Disipline:

I know as a parent, when I leave my daughter with a babysitter, I want to know how they disipline.

I am not a spanker. I use the time out system. Time out consists of some alone time . We have a spare room that is free of toys and tv,
and just quiet. I do tme out by the age. For example, 3 years old woud be three minuits, 5 years old, 5 minuits. I believe in looking at the child at eye level, and talking calmy about the bad behavior, and letting them know how the behavior effects others, but also giving
the child prase for what they do good.  I find this approach works
very well.

In case of emergency:

I am CPR trained. I live one mile away from Dobson Banner Hospital.
I will give you a form to fill out, that has your address, and emerency contact information. We never anticipate and emergency, but sometimes kids have asthma attacks, etc that need attetion. If this were the case, I would phone you, and if need be , would take the child to Desert Sam, on Dobson and the 60.

Our Service

I offer day care, drop in , part and full time in my home. We charge by the hour, not the day, or the entire week. This includes healthy meals,
and fun activities. We are not tv watchers, and do not just plop the children in front of the TV. We do fun learning games, reading, plays,
and things to let your childs mind expand while having fun.

My daughter was on the kindergarden honour roll all year. She was reading and writting in the first couple months she was in school, and
she just loves school, and loves to learn.

Meals:

We offer healthy meals. I buy plenty of fresh fruit , and cheeses for snacks. My aunt runs the dietary department for Mesa Luthern hospital and has helped me plan out healhy meals. A luch may consist of a sandwhich, soup, and a fruit. A dinner may consist of chicken, vegtable, and salad. No soda, but plenty of juice and milk.
I also encourage the kids to drink plenty of water as we live in Arizona.

You may leave snacks for your child, I just ask that they be healthy
so other children do not feel left out. Fruit snaks and crackers are ok too.
